How to frame a respectful interfaith question
A thoughtful question begins with context, distinguishes experience from interpretation and leaves room for more than one perspective.
01
Opening framework
Begin with context, not conclusions
State which tradition, text or practice you are asking about, distinguish first-hand experience from interpretation and avoid asking one participant to represent an entire community.
Name sources where possible, use respectful language and acknowledge where your own experience shapes the question.
